NGPF Middle School Course on Pear Deck!
Thinking of using the NGPF Middle School Course this school year? Back in April 2023, four of the units in the course were available in Pear Deck. With the start of the school year, we’re excited to announce that ALL Middle School Course lessons are now available on Pear Deck!
Pear Deck transforms presentations into formative assessments and active learning experiences to engage all learners. Teachers are able to interact with students using proven instructional strategies, synchronously or at their own pace.

Tell me more about Pear Deck & NGPF!
The lessons you know and love from NGPF’s Middle School Course have been adapted into Pear Deck lessons. Using Pear Deck’s features such as draw, type to answer, drag-and-drop, and more, students will be able to navigate the lessons in new, engaging ways!

How do I use Pear Deck?
All Pear Deck Lessons can be done synchronously or asynchronously! This makes them great for:
- Students who need to make up classes they missed
- Differentiating learning for your students
- Mixing up your lesson delivery
Pear Decks are created using Google Slides. To use the slides:
- Click the “Pear Deck & Google Slides” button for an NGPF lesson
- Click the "Copy to Google Drive" button
- Edit and use the slides
- Use the Pear Deck Extension to incorporate Pear Deck’s interactive features.
Note: Teachers can access and use all the NGPF lessons created in Pear Deck by creating a free Pear Deck account. Premium Individual and Custom-level Pear Deck licenses unlock additional dashboards and features on the platform, but are not required to use these NGPF Lessons. Learn more here.
