End-of-Year Teacher Toolkit: Review and Support That Reinforces and Refreshes
Reinforce the big ideas and help students finish strong. Everything you need for final exam prep review, packing in as much high impact content as you can, one must-use activity per unit, and student-paced Nearpods for supporting students in need of credit recovery.
Unit Reviews
Our unit reviews reinforce the most essential concepts from each unit and work well for in-class review, small group work, or take-home practice.
You can find these materials on both the course pages and unit pages of our website.
Scroll to the Unit Review section, located right after the last lesson in each unit. It’s a quick way to access high-quality review tools without extra prep.

Review Games
If you’re looking to keep energy high while preparing for finals, we’ve got several fun and effective options to choose from:
Start with our Jeopardy-style review game, which is fully editable.
You’ll find it listed under Final Review in the Course Materials section of the Semester Course page. Use it in teams, as a class challenge, or even as a collaborative study tool. It’s a great way to make review feel more like a celebration than a chore.
In addition to Jeopardy, we also offer Kahoot! and Wayground (formerly Quizizz) games in the same section that align with the final exam.
These interactive formats are student favorites and perfect for quick reviews, warm-ups, or end-of-year engagement.
One Key Activity Per Unit
We’ve identified one high-impact review activity from each unit that helps students revisit key ideas in a meaningful way.
- Behavioral Economics - PLAY: Dollar Auction Game
- Banking - INTERACTIVE: Online Bank Simulator
- Investing - PROJECT: 5 Stocks on Your Birthday
- Types of Credit - MOVE: Credit Musical Chairs
- Managing Credit - INTERACTIVE: FICO Credit Scores
- Paying for College - INTERACTIVE: Sticker Price vs. Net Price
- Career - INTERACTIVE: Which Jobs Align with My Interests?
- Insurance - COMPARE: Types of Health Insurance
- Taxes - CALCULATE: Completing a 1040
- Budgeting - PROJECT: Budgeting with Roommates
- Consumer Skills - PLAY: Spot the Scam Signs
Pair this with tips from How to Trim Semester Course for Shorter Time Frames to pack in as much relevant content as you can!
Nearpod Lessons for Remediation and Credit Recovery
Looking for a flexible way to support students who need to catch up or revisit key concepts?
Our Nearpod lessons can be assigned in student-paced mode, allowing learners to move through the material independently and at their own pace, even outside of class time.
These lessons are a great option for remediation or credit recovery, especially if you’re working with individual students.
Find the Nearpod button next to any lesson on our course pages or unit pages, click to add it to your Nearpod library, and assign it directly to your student.

It’s a simple, effective way to offer high-quality reinforcement without needing to lead the lesson in real time.
